350 Centistoke viscosity Dimethyl Silicone oil is typically used in food plants as a lubricant for incidental contact applications, including in fryers and spiral freezer applications as specified by OEM equipment manufacturers. Surface treatment, release material, lubricant and processing aid in food processing and packaging. Meets the requirements for FDA Lubricants for Incidental Food Contact. The use of this product as a de-foaming agent is permissible in non standardized foods (other than milk) in amounts up to 10 ppm under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Any limitations on use in standardized foods, or the like, should be observed. This product can be used in the manufacture of such food packaging materials as paper and paperboard, animal glues, adhesives and other packaging materials, subject to appropriate limitations on extractables.
